Hmm... to start with ...i just had a brief introduction about this movie! But when i reached the theater...the frst thing whch fascinated me wer the 3d specs..and one can see the diffrence right frm the beginning of the movie!
Well.....its a masterpieice by the director......
hmm to start with ...when this movie was in the intial stages of formation ...these are the few things which camerron must hav jotted down......
- Technology
- Aliens
- Mother nature
- Love...the most important of all
and all these aspects are so nicely related in this movie....whch makes it one of my personal favorites.
In the beginning of the movie , the director just marvels us with the huge strides the human race has achieved ...with his compact dormitories, printable computer screens, huge machine bull dozers et all....Everything is so imaginative ...yet quite possible with the developments we are achieving today!
As the movie progress.....he takes us into an altogether different world....which might be way behind us as far as tech and innovations are concerned ....yet live in perfect harmony with there surroundings. In fact i would say that the NA'Bi's are more close to nature and therby closer to science.This can proved frm neytris dialouge--> " everything we take frm the nature is BORROWED and one day we have to return it back to her"... this is nothing but Pandora's law of conservation of energy....which is known as Einsteins e=mc(square) ...on Earth.
Also.....the bed of neytri shows how much research the director has done on the finer aspects of the creatures on Earth itself.After all Pandora is jus like Earth...the only diffrence is ....the NA'BI's consider other beings on pandora as their own ("they didnt deserve to be killed")...we human beings dont!!!!!
Also ...the different characters in human life are perfectly portrayed on the screen.Each character does justice to his/her role.Be it the corporate minded boss, be it the military head whose sole purpose is to demonstrate human supremacy on pandora. Well i would like to talk more about him. His dedication in his military services also includes some of his personal grudges. As he says that even the worst conditions on earth(nigeria..as he says) were unable to deter him.....but one day on pandora ...n he suffered frm serious injuries. So , that hurts his Ego somewhat (which is quite natural for military personnel) ...and he made his mind to take revenge against the entire planet. This in turn complemented the CEO's greed for the radioactive mineral.
Also ....the doctors dialogue " i need to take some samples" ...shows her devotion towards her research ....which was itself a prime factor for her in helping the hero. Her thirst for new n diverse form of living creatures brought her close to the Na'BI's who were themselves very much connected to the environment around them.
Also the Lady pilot is quite a harsh n stubborn character..who carries a set of morals n principles with her( which are obviously SET by her).."I didnt sign up for this sh*t"..proves this.Also.. painting her plane in blue n green shows how this type of characters have their own way of enjoying in tough circumstances.
Envy...one of Man's most common tendencies is also nicely screened through the other Human avtaar. When the hero starts to get all the credit and becomes the center of attraction in the mess....his colleague avatar clearly shows the signs of envy ...which accumulates and finally bursts out when the topic of hanging mountains arise.But this Envy is temporary....as he fights for the same friend about whom he was envious,this shows that whatever the personal grudges be....in times of need .....we should always help our friends!!!!
The fourth point ...LOVE ,,,,,,is primely concerned with the two main characters....and proabaly deserves a separate blog according to me!!!!
